Gradfusion Fall 2023 Share Community

The Longhorn SHARE Project, which stands for Support, Healing, Active listening, Reciprocity, Empowerment,  is a non-clinical mental health peer support program housed within the Longhorn Wellness Center.

Maya Fela and Ayda Giacoman are the SHARE co-facilitators of the community “Gradfusion - Empowering Graduate Students.” Graduate school can often be a demanding and isolating journey. However, with the support of a caring community, it becomes more manageable. We invite you to join us in a weekly, peer-led, non-clinical space where you can find community, identify, and get validation around your emotions and needs. Let's exchange strategies to support one another as we navigate the various challenges and roles of graduate student life. Our aim is to foster a healthy and supportive student community here at UT.

Meetings take place on Sundays at 5:30-6:30 in the Longhorn Wellness Center (SSB 1.106), and hybrid participation is available.
