Being a grad student can be challenging when facing rigorous academic work, pressures for success, and lack of sleep and time. This group is designed to provide that safe, confidential atmosphere and the opportunity to receive support and feedback from peers.

This group is for doctoral students who are experiencing difficulties in the dissertation process. The group provides a place to move through internal and external barriers and move forward with their lives and careers.

Learn how to articulate your academic accomplishments within the specific conventions of the academic CV. We will also explore the possibilities for tailoring and persuasively positioning elements within the CV to match certain academic opportunities including fellowships.

This event will host a wide variety of organizations hiring for multiple roles coming to campus to recruit students.​ Walk around the space and connect with multiple employers at their booths where you will learn about the organization, ask about open roles and submit a resume.

Join us and practice the key skills to conduct a targeted job search for positions in industry, government, non-profits, and business.

In this workshop, we will discuss goal setting and work on creating individual plans covering academic and professional development.

Join us for a panel discussion and networking night to meet graduate students across UT, ask questions not addressed in student orientations and find your people!
